The tradition of the Santa Scroll began for our family many years ago. Every year, before their visit with Santa, each child in the family would choose their very special Santa Scroll. They would carefully select the things they hoped Santa would bring to them and write up to ten of them onto the Scroll. Santa always chose just a few of those. They would “sign” their name and sometimes even paint their hand or footprint onto the list. Then, on the day they went to visit with Santa Claus, they would tie their Scroll with a beautiful ribbon and deliver their wishes in a special way. Santa has always had a great memory, so the children were always able to take their Scroll with them after their visit so their family could display it throughout the holidays and save it year after year.
